Threatening the elderly
An elderly lady in West Yorkshire in the UK didn't think twice about letting a young gentleman park his roller in her driveway overnight instead of taking it back to the yard. The next day the man called around to pick up the machine and as a thank you offered to pave the lady's driveway for 400 livres. They agreed on 300 livres, however when the job was complete, the builder demanded 2600 livres and said they lady just have misheard him then he became threatening towards her. He then ordered a taxi and the pair set off to the bank to get the money.
The lady didn't hand over the cash immediately however and when she got back home, managed to slip next door and get help. The man left the scene but has since stated he would call the lady 24 hours a day until she paid up. Upon contacting the police, she was told she would have to take it to the courts.
